The impact of OASIS on maize yield
As part of the Mosonmagyaróvár pilot project, we are analysing how the combined use of agricultural land and solar panels affects crop growth, changes in soil moisture, the microclimate and subsequent crop yields.
What are the advantages of OASIS technology?
1. In Hungary and across Europe, installed photovoltaic power stations take up land that could otherwise be used for agricultural production. In many cases, this appears to be a rational decision, as many factories and processing plants are located on the outskirts of towns, adjacent to arable land.
